MEN MAKE MISTAKES. GOD WILL FORGIVE THEM. WILL THEIR WOMEN?
Charles McIntyre built the lawless, godless mining town of Defiance practically with his bare hands … and without any remorse for the lives he destroyed along the way. Then a glimpse of true love, both earthly and heavenly, changed him. The question is, how much? Naomi Miller is a beautiful, decent woman. She says she loves McIntyre, that God does, too, and the past is behind them now. But McIntyre struggles to believe he’s worth saving … worth loving. Unfortunately, the temptations in Defiance only reinforce his doubts.
Billy Page abandoned Hannah Frink when he discovered she was going to have his baby … and now he can’t live with himself. Or without her. Determined to prove his love, he leaves his family and fortune behind and journeys to Defiance. Will Hannah take Billy back or give him what he deserves for the betrayal?
Gritty and realistic, this is the story of real life and real faith in Defiance.
The sequel to the highly acclaimed, best-selling western romance A Lady in Defiance!

My favorite genre to read is Historical Fiction. Love learning about real history at the same time that I am enjoying a great story.
And I love the research! There are always historical bits, if not whole threads, of truth in my stories!
I love to read young adult books.
And there are some great ones out there today!!!
I love just about all Christian genres, historical is my favorite… Cowboys are a bonus 😉
Ha Ha! Yes, cowboys are a bonus!
My favorite genre is science fiction.
I love historical and erotica I started my reading career with Historical however so that will always be my first love
Sounds like a good read.
We all sure think so! 🙂
My favorite genre is suspense novels.
Debbie, have you ever read any Lynnette Eason? She is really good! My book, Grace be a Lady, is a Western suspense. Let me know if you like it if you get around to reading it. 🙂
I love all kinds of genres – horror, mysteries, sci-fi, young adult, romance
I’m actually a big horror fan myself. Which is weird, since I write inspirational romance. 🙂
I don’t have a favorite genre. I read pretty much everything from recipes to mysteries to horror to sci-fi to young adult to romance
Another horror fan? I wonder if there is something about our mental wiring that connects historical fiction to that genre? I love a good Edgar Allan Poe tale.
I like a variety of Christian fiction. I like to alternate different genres as I read. After a historical, I usually read a contemporary. If I’ve read a very suspenseful book, then next I pick an easy romance. I like Biblical fiction and also legal and political thrillers. I don’t like to limit my reading, as long as it is Christian fiction.
And the cool thing about the way you read, Kay, is that you’ll get such a great taste of a variety of writers!
I enjoy reading christian fiction. Historical is my favorite but I vary what I read , suspense, contemporary and the like as long as it’s a clean read.
